Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Dehradun, as you make your way towards the quaint town of Barkot. Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, Barkot is a charming town known for its stunning views of the snow-capped peaks and as a base for pilgrims heading to Yamunotri. The drive offers spectacular scenery as you pass through Mussoorie and the picturesque Kempty Falls. On arrival in Barkot, you will check into your chosen hotel, where you can relax and soak in the serene surroundings.

Enjoy a leisurely evening at the hotel, with dinner provided, and rest up for the spiritual adventure awaiting you the next day.
After an early breakfast, your day begins with a drive to Jankichatti, the base for the Yamunotri trek. From Jankichatti, you will embark on a scenic 6 km trek (one way) to the sacred Yamunotri Temple. The trek is filled with picturesque views of dense forests, lush meadows, and the sound of the Yamuna River rushing alongside. At the Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, you will offer prayers and take part in rituals. Don't miss the opportunity to take a dip in the Surya Kund, a natural hot water spring believed to have curative properties.
After darshan and exploring the temple area, you will trek back to Jankichatti and drive to Barkot for an overnight stay at your hotel.

Post breakfast, you will depart from Barkot and head towards Uttarkashi, a town steeped in spirituality and set on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. You can spend the afternoon exploring Uttarkashi, visiting the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple or strolling along the riverbank.

After an evening of peace and reflection, enjoy dinner at your hotel and rest in preparation for your journey to Gangotri the following day.
Your day starts with an early morning drive to Gangotri, one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in India, known as the origin of the holy River Ganga. The road to Gangotri is filled with panoramic views of towering mountains, dense forests, and flowing rivers. On reaching Gangotri, you will visit the revered Gangotri Temple, where the Goddess Ganga is worshipped. Take part in the divine rituals and soak in the spiritual atmosphere, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Himalayas. After darshan, you can also visit nearby spots like the Bhagirath Shila and the mesmerizing Gauri Kund.
After your visit to Gangotri, you will drive back to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay at your hotel.
